Description
The Sole Surviving Soul by Angela A Stanton
There is always one who wins. The Sole Surviving Soul represents the one who endures, who fights, who stands up in what he or she believes to be the best and most important. Reaching toward the sun over the heads of all others simply by not following the crowd, a sole survivor is born. A natural born leader.
This painting represents my struggle and fight against all odds to bring life back into my mother. This is my inspiration and strength coming to you in the form of a painting.
This is a digital painting by hand with lots of textures. Digital art can be enlarged without loss of quality. This provides for great printing on any surface and all textures are seen but not felt.

This is really beautiful Angela and it is so appropriate under the circumstances. Your mother would be so proud. Such a powerful piece. F/L T

Thanks Lianne. You brought tears to my eyes. Little did I know how it will end when I painted this. It is too late for her now but I am still fighting to right the wrong! At least perhaps others will benefit.

Gorgeous colorful art work. I so long for summer so this is soothing me perfectly. This art work is my DFM&N for March (Memories & Nostalgia). ;o)
