Description
A painting by hand using digital media. It is a rose called "Blue Rose" that grows in my garden. It is a wonderful rose because it has no thorns! It has a very soft scent that is very pretty.
This is a heavily textured hand painted digital painting full of textures. Digital art can be enlarged without loss of quality. This provides for great printing quality on any surface and all textures are seen but not felt!

Angela, What a gorgeous floral painting with such an elegant appeal to it and such a soft tone. Great details in the pedals and fantastic texture in this floral painting, great colors also chosen to make this painting look so beautiful, fav, voted, google and tweet promoted and selected as my Pay It Forward for the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group

Magnificent rose with such gorgeous purple color, Angela! Rose with no thorns, so unique!
Angela Stanton replied:
Indeed Jenny! A most unusual rose and very beloved. Now that I can see its flowers up (when I painted this the bush was dormant so this was from memory), it is a bit pinker but it is still called the blue rose in the store. :)

This one really IS.... lovely - I have the urge to just gaze at this "portrait" of a special "twilight" rose!
