Description
Why such silly title? The painting was actually created in the waiting room while waiting for my appointment and I arrived too early... normally lots of traffic but this time none, so I was almost an hour early. So this painting is literally done in the waiting room but it is the kind of art you normally see in waiting rooms. But it is also about love and happiness and a lot of bubbliness that to me represent spring. hence the title.
This is digitally painted by hand on my iPad using the Inspire Pro app and a stylus. Digitally painted pictures printed on canvas have the nicest effects. Since I was a painter in oil and other mediums like tempera for 30 years, I understand what an oil paint should look like and I those skills are added to my digital paintings.
Digital paintings have many advantages over paintings that were originally painted on canvas or paper and then photographed and posted for sale as print. The most important of these advantages of digital over "real" is that since digital was created digitally, it will look printed on canvas or paper exactly as you see it on the monitor!
iPad paintings are naturally flat since to this day there are no apps that create depth like computer programs do but eventually we will get there too!
