Description
This oil painting, memories of Summer, was created on my iPad. Yes, oil paint. Much of the texture is achieved by using a palette knife, my favorite painting tool, using special painting apps on iPad. This is not auto paint but hand painted like a "real" painting... it is a real painting!
I have been a painter (of real oil on canvas) for over 30 years and to see oil-like textures come through on an iPad app - artrage - is a true joy. Because of the heavy textures, this painting will print with heavy textures so canvas or paper is recommended to enjoy the textures. If you print on metal, the colors will be more vivid; on acrylic, it will look the same as here. It makes great greeting card as well.
