A unique location between two sand dunes in Death Valley's famous Mesquite Sand Dunes. Between sand dunes one may find these dried out and hardened salt flats with sand waved by local winds at the edge. I found the formation very interesting and reminds me of a 20th Century table cloth! This is an HDR (High Dynamic Range) photograph composed of 3 differently exposed pictures. The formation reminds me of old tablecloth crochet from my childhood. Sand Dunes Like Fine Cloth.
